The Trial
From your trial to your special day, I am with you through the whole process of finding your most perfect bridal makeup look.
Your trial will be the most important time we spend together, it is a chance for me to get to know you and your style, so we can bring this out in your makeup. The trial is for 2 hours, this gives us plenty of time to go through anything you want and we will finish with a complete and beautiful bridal look.
Its a great opportunity to show me a Pinterest board if you have one, or your own wedding site which you use for inspiration. Any allergies you have will be discussed, and we will even talk about what colour the bridesmaid dresses are to gage the looks you’d like them to have.
I’d recommend you to wear a white or ivory top for your trial, you will really be able to see your makeup as if you were in your dress. Dark coloured clothing can really alter the makeup! It will also come in handy for when we take photos at the end, you will really be able to invision your makeup in your dress!
You will leave your trial, face chart in hand with all products used on it. I may recommend you start a skincare routine, I may even recommend other suppliers to you like photographers. Everything will be on the face chart. I’d usually recommend you to purchase the lipstick I use on you for the big day, as you may need to top this up once I’ve left!
Trials take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday’s. Feel free to book your trial in around your hen party or an evening out, just so you can see how the makeup wears! I’d usually recommend your trial around 4-6 months before the big day.
Trials take place at my home in Rossendale, Lancashire. I can come to you for your trial, but only if it is a group trial booking of 3+.
The Wedding Day
Its finally here. The most exciting morning you will probably ever have. Everyone is feeling so fulfilled and happy and excited. This is the part I love the most about my job, I love being a part of your big day.
I will arrive in plenty of time to set up my kit and get started on glamming up your bridal party. Usually its bridesmaids first, mother of the bride and then finally the bride. I always allow extra time for the brides makeup due to interruptions, flowers being delivered etc. This is to ensure I have plenty of time to complete your look as per the face chart.
Once all makeup is finished, I will then freshen everyone up with powder, concealer, lipstick/lip gloss as usually the photographer wants some snaps of the bridal party. This service is included in your quote and won’t be charged as extra.
We can talk about the potential for me to stay for the whole day, this is great because I can switch the bridal party all to evening looks. Or I can stay until after the ceremony to refresh everyone again as I am sure some tears will be flowing! Both for an additional cost. I may need to bring an extra artist for your big day, depending on the size of your bridal party. We will always try to travel together if we can. If travel needs to be charged, I will always let you know this in advance.

From working in Selfridges for 5 years, I am well researched on brands and their different styles of makeup. After being a makeup artist for 9 years, I would say I’m pretty clued up on which formulas work best for a wedding day! You need something longwearing, but still glowing and natural.
I have a range of skincare for all different skin types, this is so important underneath your foundation. Skincare really does change how a foundation sits on the skin, & its for the better! I feel like you can only get the best out of a foundation when you have mastered what you use underneath.
Top tip - get using a full skincare routine before your big day! You wont regret it, having gorgeous healthy plumped & glowing skin on your professional photo’s.
