Frequently Asked Questions

How far will you travel?

As far as possible! The furthest I have travelled for a wedding is Lake Como, in Italy. If you would like a destination wedding quote please send me a contact form.

Do you know anyone who can offer bridal hair?

Yes I do! I have worked with some great hair stylists and I am more than happy to pass you their details. Alternatively please take a look at my supplier recommendations page.

Do you offer a full day service?

Yes, I do! To keep me with you for the full day, set hours will be agreed beforehand. (£50 for 2024&2025). The service is charged hourly, and is 5 hours minimum.

I do also offer an after the ceremony service to stay and refresh your makeup after you’ve shed those tears tying the knot! This is a minimum of 2 hours.

Please note the hourly prices will be enhanced if your booking is a bank holiday and/or Christmas.

Use this time for touch ups, assistance with your dress, toilet trips, and I will even glam your makeup up for a more evening style!

Depending on the hours, a meal allowance could be expected.

What makeup brands do you use?

My kit is mainly Bobbi Brown and Charlotte Tilbury as their makeup is just perfect but I also use MAC, Nars, Laura Mercier, Chanel, & many more! For more information on my kit, click here.

How soon should I book you?

I’d recommend you to contact me to book as soon as possible. A small £50 non refundable booking fee is expected to secure your date, until this is paid your date will remain open to others to book.

The booking fee is redeemed from your final invoice for the big day.

Do you have a minimum booking fee?

My minimum booking fee for 2024/25 is £220 which covers up to 4 makeups.

What exactly is involved in the bridal makeup trial?

So, the bridal makeup trial includes exactly what it says on the tin. YOUR bridal makeup for your big day. I will tailor make it to you and you alone. What colours we think suit you, your perfect foundation shade, your perfect foundation finish. Anything that you want you get. Even down to what style of eyelash we think suits you best! For the bridal trial I like to give myself 2 hours, so we aren't rushing and by the end you are in love with the makeup. It is also important to do a trial as we can tweak anything you aren't happy with before the big day. (Bridal trials are a must and I can’t to be booked without one). It is also the perfect opportunity to get to know each other!

If you need another artist, will this cost me extra?

It depends on which makeup artists are available to assist and if they will mirror my pricing. If they don’t I will give you options of hopefully a few MUA’s, but ultimately this is not my responsibility and I can’t be held liable if they charge more than me. You would also be responsible for the extra makeup artists travel expenses but we will always try to travel together where possible.
